- explain what determines the strength of gravity between 2 objects.
- explain what causes the moon phases.
- describe the positions of the earth, moon, and sun during the different moon phases.
- identify and label the different phases in order beginning with the new moon
- distinguish between solar and lunar eclipses.
- describe the positions of the earth, moon, and sun during the lunar and solar eclipses.
